The Goodman GSZ 14 SEER Heat Pump uses the chlorine-free refrigerant R-410A and features energy efficiencies and operating sound levels that are among the best in the heating and cooling industry. The GSZ contains the single stage, high efficiency Copeland® scroll compressor, which provides improved temperature and humidity control. This unit is designed for the consumer who desires superb comfort and quiet operation.
The Goodman MBVC modular blower is tailor-made for exceptional energy efficiency. Now fully compatible with the ComfortNet line of communicating equipment, these two-piece blowers increase both installation and application flexibility. Units can be matched with cased coils for upflow, downflow, and horizontal applications.

The Goodman MBVC2000AA-1 is a variable speed modular blower designed for heating in more compact spaces. Designed to work alone as a straight electric furnace or to work with an AC or heat pump system, the MBVC2000AA-1 is an energy efficient choice that is compatible with ComfortNet communicating technology, all providing an enhanced comfort to your home.

4 to 5 Tons
The Goodman MBVC2000AA-1 modular blower has an output that is rated to match up to a 4 to 5 ton system. Although not always the case, in order for a paired air conditioning or heat pump system to function at peak heating and cooling efficiency, ideal system configurations will have the coil within the range of this modular blower. Please note that in order for the modular blower to provide straight electric heating, a compatible electric heat kit is required, available to be field-installed at an additional cost.
Warranty
Goodman offers a 12 year parts warranty on their variable speed modular blowers when your installation that follows your state and local codes. Please note that in order for the warranty to be upheld, you must register the unit online through the manufacturer.
The Goodman MBVC2000AA-1 modular blower is designed to be flexible in installation application. With its small form factor and ability to work with a separate AC or heat pump coil, the unit is easily installable. For durability, there is foil-faced insulation inside the cabinet, and the outer casing is constructed from strong galvanized steel.
The Goodman MBVC2000AA-1 uses a variable speed ECM blower motor, providing precise adjustments to keep your home’s temperature as stable as possible. The unit is also compatible with ComfortNet communicating equipment, and with paired with it, temperature control, efficiency, and overall comfort are enhanced even further. Either way, the MBVC2000AA-1 lives up to the Goodman name.

Goodman's TXV valves are designed to improve the reliability and efficiency of your central split system. With the TX5N4, you can be assured that your three-and-a-half to five ton system is getting the proper refrigerant flow, even through changing conditions. 5 Ton 14 SEER Goodman Heat Pump

Just like all of Goodman’s equipment, the GSZ140601 is manufactured with high-quality materials to provide a superior comfort in your home.

5 ton
The Goodman GSZ140601 heat pump has a capacity of 5 tons. In an ideal climate, this tonnage will normally cover up to a larger house. In some bundles, the air handler or coil associated with this condenser may be intentionally larger in tonnage to maintain the unit’s overall efficiency. Please note that an indoor air handler or coil that is compatible with heat pumps is required for this unit to function.
14 SEER
At 14 SEER, the GSZ140601 heat pump condenser has the industry-standard minimum, allowing the unit to remain inexpensive upfront in comparison to higher SEER ratings. If you are replacing an existing heat pump, in most cases this SEER rating will still be higher than your old unit, allowing it to still save you money over time in energy bills.
The GSZ140601 condenser comes with Goodman’s standard 10 year parts warranty with online registration through the manufacturer. An installation that follows your state and local codes is required for the warranty to be upheld.
The Goodman GSZ140601 heat pump condenser is manufactured with a durable cabinet with paint that is approved for 500 hours of salt spray, making it compliant with the 2010 Florida building code unit integrity requirements for hurricane-like weather when properly anchored to your local codes. The built-in bi-flow liquids line filter drier protects the unit from impurities in the refrigerant and other general wear and tear, increasing the reliability of the unit.
The Goodman GSZ140601 has easily accessible gauge ports and service valves with sweat connections, allowing for a faster and easier installation process. There are factory-installed features such as a filter drier, compressor crankcase heater, pressure switches, and a high-capacity muffler so your installer doesn’t have to, further providing ease to the installation process. Moreover, the cabinet of the unit is fit with two maintenance access panels: one on the top and one on the side. All of these features lower your installation and maintenance costs, keeping more money in your pocket to spend on the things you care about most.
With its sound control top insulation and SmartShift technology for quiet and reliable defrost cycles, the GSZ140601 heat pump has some of the lowest sound outputs on a single stage unit on the market today.
