Once you reach the wall or ceiling, you convert to a ClaStainless Steel A chimney pipe like Duratech. Duratech requires 2- Inch of clearance to combustibles. Black stove pipe (not Duratech) is being used within the room the appliance is in. Typically single wall black pipe requires 18- Inch of clearance to combustibles. Double-wall black pipe reduces clearances to combustibles to 6- Inch.
