In most areas of the country, a central air conditioner for mobile homes makes the best choice for climate control. Our inventory includes standard systems with electric coils for winter use, as well as heat pump systems, where heat is derived by the same process that provides cooling relief in the summer.

We sell mobile home air conditioner units as small as 1.5 ton or as large as 5.0 ton. The package includes a condenser/compressor (outside unit), an evaporator coil (inside), and a copper line set up to 50 feet in length; ready to install into any mobile home cabinet and work in tandem with an existing air handler for a perfectly-matched* AC system.

*Perfectly matched does not mean that the BTU capacity of the coil is exactly the same as that of the condenser. For ultimate efficiency, the coil’s capacity should surpass that of the condenser.

Units that function as heat pumps provide heat in the winter by “reversing” the AC process, extracting heat from the atmosphere and delivering it inside. This process is a marvel of efficiency in winter temperatures down to 35°. However, if you live in an area where cold spells are more frigid and last longer than a few days, supplemental heat might be required.
