With its 19 SEER rating, the Mitsubishi SEZ-KD18NA4R1.TH / SUZ-KA18NAHZ is designed with an efficient output of 18,000 BTU. Depending on a number of variables such as ductwork runs, this model is able to cover an average space or two smaller adjacent spaces.

The Mitsubishi SEZ-KD18NA4R1.TH / SUZ-KA18NAHZ ducted mini split comes with a wall-mounted controller that is made to be field-installed. With the Kumo Cloud, a Mitsubishi-branded WiFi mini split adapter found here, the unit can be accessed anywhere that you have Internet.
The Mitsubishi SEZ-KD18NA4R1.TH / SUZ-KA18NAHZ ducted mini split is designed to be a much smaller version of an all-electric central heat pump central system. As the air handler is designed to fit in smaller spaces such as in the ceiling or wall instead of needing its own closet, the unit also has a lower output than many central systems. As a result, in most houses, you will need more than one to cover the entire house depending on your home’s needs. Moreover, the unit can either be blown directly into a space with proper mounting equipment or it can blow through ductwork first. This allows you to direct the airflow into one room or branch it off into multiple rooms, making it ready for multiple installation applications.
