Using a five zone ductless mini split system gives you control over five separate areas of your home or business. Since this is a ductless system, you don’t need to add ductwork or alter your current building in any way. These systems are great for old homes, apartments, big garages, workshops or even warehouses. The option of using a heat pump as your outdoor condenser allows you to efficiently heat the spaces in the winter, as well as cool them in the summer. Each room gets its own air handler – with a separate remote control – or for big spaces like a warehouse, you can setup the air handlers on opposite sides of the space.

A 5 Zone Mini Split System provides customized ductless heating and cooling to five separate areas or zones of your home. We sell complete systems that include an outdoor Air Conditioner or Heat Pump, five indoor Air Handlers and an installation kit for each air handler. The air handlers push the conditioned air into your room and come in multiple options based on the estup of your home: Wall Mounted, Ceiling Cassette, Ceiling Suspended, Concealed Duct, Floor Mounted, and Multi-Positional. A complete zoned HVAC system, you can control each air handler separately, giving each room its own separate climate control.
With each room having its own customized climate control, you’ll select a separate air handler for each space. The BTU rating of each air handler will depend on the room’s square footage. Follow the below guidelines for estimating your need, but please work with a professional to give you a more accurate sizing for your specific needs.

Why Choose a Ductless Mini-Split System?
Mini split systems tend to be a lot more efficient than your typical central split systems. SEER ratings for mini split systems usually range from 18 SEER all the way up to an amazing 30 SEER. With SEER ratings like that, your system will be able to reduce your energy bills significantly compared to standard central split systems.
Zone Climate Control
Ever wanted different rooms in your house set at different temperatures? Mini split systems allow you to set each zone a different temperature and giving you the power to control the temperatures throughout your house easily.
Ductless mini split systems are exactly as their names would lead on: Ductless. Ductwork is not needed for mini split systems and instead they use copper line sets to run the refrigerant to the indoor units. This allows you to place your air handler in the space that you want it and requires less maintenance than a duct system.
Ductless mini split systems have sound ratings as low as 19 dB for the inside unit. With sound ratings that low, it means that they can operate quieter than a whisper. This allows you to stay comfortable without being distracted by annoying noises.
