The Carrier KSAIC0301230 is a 24V thermostat adapter that allows a 230V Carrier mini split head to be controlled by a third-party thermostat. The KSAIC0301230 can be used on single zone systems and multi zone systems.

When used on single zone systems, one thermostat and one KSAIC0301230 will be required.

When used on multi zone systems, one thermostat and one KSAIC0301230 will be required per indoor head that you wish to control this way. Controls can be mixed and matched; the KSAIC0301230 can be used to control one zone while the other zones can use their provided handheld remotes or optional wall mounted controls.
